A High ROI With Effective Article Marketing

First of all there is no such thing as Free Traffic. You will either employ methods that will cost you money to get it or you will invest lots of time.

In the case of the latter, time is money and you want to get the highest return on your investment.

If you're new to internet marketing, one of the most effective ways to drive traffic to your website is through article marketing. Article marketing consists of writing short summaries or 300-500 word reports related to your niche and submitting them for distribution by various article directories.

You may have heard that just submitting a ton of articles to these directories will help you get backlinks to your website, boosting your sites ranking in the search engines.

That's true...but, if you're going to write articles just to be writing articles with no real direction in mind other than to obtain backlinks, 2 things are going to happen.

1) Untargeted non-goal oriented articles will lead to little or no results
2) Your backlinks that you slaved for will fade away, because of the lack of value provided.

Don't waste your time.

If you're going to spend the time(which should be as valuable as your money, if not more so) writing content to bring in traffic and gain backlinks, be specific about what you're trying to accomplish.

Keep your articles tightly linked to your topic and the by product will be the clicks on the link in your resource box.

Article marketing is an effective way to drive targeted traffic to your website, but effective article marketing is the best way to monetize that traffic.

Affiliate Marketing Strategies - Hitting The Nail On The Head

I have a very good friend who is an excellent carpenter. He has been at it for close to 30 years and when it comes to hitting the nail on the head, he knows how to get the job done.

Just like carpentry, successful affiliate marketing depends on using the right tools for the job. In addition to using the right tools, there are strategies and techniques involved that can drastically reduce the time spent on getting the job done.

Drive A Nail In 5 Hits or 10

If you've ever watched a skilled carpenter at work, when it comes to putting up wood framing, they can drive a nail in just a couple of hits or even better knock out the job with a nail gun.

If you're looking for profitable keywords, you can do this manually or you can use a tool like Keyword Elite, Adwords Analyzer or the ever popular Wordtracker. If you're just getting started there is certainly nothing wrong with using free keyword tools, but if you want to see results fast, than you might want to think about using some power tools.

In order to get the most out of the tools you will use, you have to take a moment to learn how to use them. Just like the carpenter that invests time learning how to use his tools effectively and safely, so the same goes for the affiliate marketer.

It's very easy to go ahead and start putting your new tools to use, but if you never learn how to use them properly, you'll be limiting your effectiveness and increasing your frustration.

Picking the wrong keywords to build a campaign around is like hitting your thumb with a hammer. It hurts like hell and it can really make you mad. Avoid that by taking the time to learn how to get the maximum use out of your tools.

Hit The Nail

Don't get stuck in learning mode. Read the instructions, watch the video, go to work.
No amount of learning will compensate for any lack of action on your part.

Dozens of affiliates come and go because of this fundamental truth. You have to take action and keep taking action until you achieve the desired result. If you don't learn that now, you will learn it a thousand dollars from now.

Once you've got the technique, grab that hammer and start banging. After awhile you'll begin to get the hang of the technique and you will own it. Once you own it you'll know how to tweak it to squeeze more profit from it.

Google Adwords Sucks When You Don't Know What You're Doing

Sure you've probably been exposed to the overly simplistic adwords strategy. How does it go? Pop a couple keywords in write an ad, watch the cash come rolling in. Yeah right.

More like watch the cash go rolling out. Have you been a victim of this crap too? There are tons of ebooks out there touting a no click, free click or low cost click formula. How many did you buy?

You probably spent more money on ebooks than what you've made from adwords. Am I right? It's no secret that having the right keywords can make or break you in the affiliate game, so what's a cat to do?

I'm sure if you've been burned by the adwords killer the likelihood of you going back into the arena again is slim to none. And slim just left town.

How about this. You enter a niche that is not over-populated, find good keywords for cheap, get your ads up and running, split testing as you go and ZILCH, ZIP, NADA!

So you let it run for a couple of days, but you forget to turn off the contextual search network and Bang! You get a nice fat adwords bill for a couple hundred bucks and no sales. That's my story. Sound familiar?

After that I said: "screw it, google adwords sucks, I'm done". Period.

Sounds pretty resolute huh? Well that's exactly how I felt and no one was going to convince me otherwise. As some time passed and I continued on my internet marketing journey I kept hearing about a certain ebook over and over again.

In every marketing forum and on various internet marketing websites affiliates just continued to rave about the success they were achieving because of the information contained in that book. Needless to say I was getting sick of hearing about it.

The crazy thing about it is...the book is 2 years old and it is still drawing these kinds of responses.

As far as the contents go, the techniques are very easy to learn. You don't have to be a computer genius or learn any special new skills to use them to make big money in affiliate marketing.

The ebook contains original and unique information and techniques: Most "make-money" ebooks are just a re-hash of the same techniques found in all the others. This is why those techniques hardly ever work in the real world. These are not techniques that you will find in a hundred other ebooks or guides.

Well I'll tell you this much. I thought I had seen the last of adwords, until this book. Anyway I'm not gonna sell it to you, just check it out for yourself.

How To Create Content For Your Website

Figuring out how to create content for your website can seem like a daunting task. After all there is only so much you can write about isn't there?

Interestingly enough the solution to the problem is available in abundance. There are tons of resources available online that you can draw from to create an ongoing flow of fresh content for your website.

One particular resource that can help you figure out how to generate content is PLR. Private Label Rights content. This kind of content gives you permission to utilize it as if it were yours. You can put your name on it as if you created it.

Create free reports, reviews, blog posts, articles, an ebook or your own software product. Put your name on them and sell them on ebay or on your own site.

You can instantly go from wondering how to generate content for your website to making sales in a very short period of time.

There are many PLR resources on the internet, some good and some not so good, so check out the quality of the material before you go putting your name on it.

To get the most out of PLR content, it is best to rewrite any articles by at least 40%. What that means is, you don't have to write a new article, because that would defeat the purpose, but give the article your personality.

Not only will this give you good search engine rankings as you sprinkle your keywords throughout the article, but your customers will appreciate it as well.

If the issue of figuring out how to create content for your site has you stumped, feel free to check out PLR Wholesaler for the best quality and quantity of content for FREE.

Doing Business Online - The Role Of Your Squeeze Page

Once you have identified your target market, your next step is to aim an offer at your target. An effective way of doing business online is to develop a relationship with your clients.

There is a saying in business that goes this way: "Always take care of your customers, because if you don't someone else will". If you develop this kind of mentality about your business, your success will be long standing.

So how can you do this? By developing a simple web page designed to do one thing and one thing only. Attract customers. This page is called a "squeeze page", so named for the purpose of squeezing just enough information from your website visitors, so you can build your relationship.

An effective squeeze page is simple in design, containing an irresistable offer geared to the interests of your market. An attention grabbing headline, some interest arousing bullet points and a short form to capture names and email addresses is all you need.

For a powerful example of how this can be done check out this video...
Squeeze Page Demo

Your squeeze page can be your 24 hour partner working with you to develop your business. It never sleeps, doesn't ask for a raise and won't quit on you.

With a simple squeeze page you can build your own step-by-step profit system and start pulling in profits on autopilot.

At this point you're probably wondering where the people are going to come from to get the process going. That's what we'll discuss in the next part of this mini-series entitled:"Driving Constant Ongoing Masses Of Targeted Buyers To Your Offer".

Understanding The Process Of Doing Business Online - Overview

Understanding the process of doing business online can help you go along way to becoming a successful marketer.

When it comes to doing business online, a very key point is to keep it simple. Try not to overcomplicate the process by putting the cart before the horse.

The model is quite simple and here is a brief overview that can give you some direction.

1) Find a profitable market

2) Make an offer

3) Drive Traffic

4) Back end sales

It would be helpful to keep in mind that what takes place offline is very similar online.

Think about this. You are in the market for a new appliance. A profitable market.

Next you find an advertisement (offer) in the local paper that makes you an offer you can't refuse. As a result of that offer you and you're significant other are now sailing down the highway to the store to check it out (drive traffic).

You see that the deal on this new appliance is real and you're ready to make your purchase, but there are some accessories you'll probably need to get the most out of your new product and by the way there just might be some other things you can pick up while you're there. (back end)

We go through this process daily. At the supermarket, clothing store, electronics store, etc. Come to think of it even when you buy lunch, isn't there always something else you end up adding on to your order?

As you can see understanding the process of doing business online can provide the right direction to run in. For Review here it is again:

1) Find a profitable market

2) Make an offer

3) Drive Traffic

4) Back end sales
